Regé-Jean Page returns to Netflix in an erotic thriller
A new series called Hancock Park.
He did not have the career that was promised to him after his meteoric breakthrough in Bridgerton.
So Regé-Jean Page returns to Netflix.
While its Duke of Hastings had the art and way of raising the temperature among subscribers, the platform will push the naughty sliders a little more, by making a new erotic thriller carried by Regé-Jean Page, both star and executive producer of the project.
Titled Hancock Park, the series follows “a dangerously charismatic outsider who intrudes into the lives of a seemingly perfect Los Angeles family when he rents the guest house in their backyard,” Netflix announced. But the deeper he goes into their world, the more the veneer of this ultra-privileged community begins to crack. Desire, deception, obsessions: everything that hides in the corners of one of LA’s most coveted neighborhoods resurfaces.
Presented as an erotic thriller “with bite”, the series is written by Matthew Barry (The New Adventures of Sabrina).
No release date yet.
Since his star role in The Bridgerton Chronicles, which earned him an Emmy nomination in 2021, Regé-Jean Page has played supporting roles: we saw him notably in The Gray Man (2022) and Dungeons & Dragons: Thieves’ Honor (2023).
