Oscars 2024: Oppenheimer triumphs, Anatomy of a Fall wins a prize (complete list)
Satisfied by all this “Kenergie”the public did not, however, witness the triumph of barbie, nor Ken, for the rest of the evening. The award for best film, for which was named the biggest hit of 2023, went to Oppenheimerby Christopher Nolan, for best screenplay adapted to American Fictionby Cord Refferson, and that of best supporting actor to Robert Downey Jr. No prizes for sets or costumes either, categories in which Poor creatures took it all.
If Gosling also had a chance at the Oscars for this song, it was ultimately his colleagues Billie Eilish and Finneas O'Connell who triumphed for “What Was I Made For”. They too performed this piece on the Oscars stage, and they moved the spectators present, in particular the entire cast of barbie.
