Seth Rogen, studio boss rebuffed by Martin Scorsese: trailer
The series The Studio will be released next spring on Apple TV+.
The duo’s new creation Seth Rogen And Evan Goldberg promises to be once again very enjoyable. The two producers sign The Studioa new comedy for Apple TV+, in the mysteries of Hollywood power. The story of a new studio head who will come up against the reality of the profession and show business in Los Angeles.
As the trailer already reveals (below), the series will feature some luxury guest stars. Martin Scorsese, Anthony Mackie or even Charlize Theron (who starred with Rogen in Seduce me if you can in 2019) will make an appearance to make life difficult for the young boss.
Seth Rogen embodies “Matt Remick, the new head of Continental Studios, a struggling production company. As their films struggle to survive and remain relevant, Matt and his team attempt to overcome their own insecurities while confronting the narcissistic artists and cowardly business executives they encounter, never losing sight of their relentless desire to make great movies. Masking their panic behind their clothes of power, each party, set visit, casting decision, marketing meeting and awards ceremony, is the occasion for a brilliant success or a catastrophe that will end their career. By eating, sleeping and breathing ‘movies,’ Matt has the job he’s dreamed of his whole life, and it just might be his undoing.”
The Studio also joins the cast Catherine O’HaraKathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz and Chase Sui Wonders, as well as Bryan Cranston.
This is the second series of Seth Rogen for Apple, after the excellent Platonic (also with Rose Byrne) of which we are awaiting season 2.
Consisting of 10 episodes, The Studio is carried out by Seth Rogen himself. The first two episodes will be available on Wednesday March 26, 2025, followed by a new episode every Wednesday until May 21, 2025, in France on Apple TV+ and also on Canal +.
