Taylor Swift will make her return to Disney+ with a new docuseries
Six episodes to go behind the scenes of the famous “Eras Tour”.
She never stops occupying our screens.
Taylor Swift will release a documentary series around her triumphant Eras Tour, a 6-episode project, entitled Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era, which will be available on Disney+ from December 12.
As a bonus, it will be accompanied by a new concert film, The Final Show, captured during the last of the Eras Tour, played on December 8, 2023 at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver. A show lasting more than three hours and 45 songs, including the previously unreleased segment Female Rage: The Musical and medleys of A Place in This World / New Romantics and Long Live / New Year’s Day.
Revealed on Good Morning America, the series promises “an intimate look at Taylor’s life as her tour broke all records around the world”, with interventions from her loved ones, her musicians, and prestigious guests like Ed Sheeran, Florence Welch, Gracie Abrams and Sabrina Carpenter. The first two episodes will go live on December 12, followed by two more each week. Taylor Swift is over the moon:
“It was the end of an era and we knew it. We wanted to remember every moment of this intense chapter of our lives, so we let the cameras follow this adventure to its climax.”
Unlike the singer’s previous video projects released in theaters – Taylor Swift: The Release Party of a Showgirl, an ephemeral musical event which dominated the box office with $33 million in three days – this new production will be exclusively available on Disney+.
