The Killer: David Fincher finds Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross for the soundtrack of his Netflix film
After collaborating on mank (who had already an original painting as a poster) and the series mindhunter And Love, Death and Robots, the filmmaker of Seven and of Zodiac returns with a serial killer story of which he has the secret for the platform.
The killer is taken from the eponymous French comic strip by Luc Jacamont and Matz (Alexis Nolent), published by Casterman, and follows “a relentless assassin beginning to gradually develop an awareness between good and evil…” This first visual is deliberately different from the visual style of the comics.
The film was partly shot in Paris, and it is expected for November 10 on Netflix. Before that, the filmmaker is invited this week to the Venice Film Festival to present it in preview. See you precisely on September 3 live from the Lido to find out more about this dark work which will be worn by Charles Parnell, Arliss Howard, Sophie Charlotte and Tilda Swinton in addition to Fassbender. For this film, Fincher finds Erik Messerschmidt, the cinematographer of mank and its series mindhunteras well as its screenwriter Seven, Andrew Kevin Walker. We learned this summer that he would team up again with Atticus Ross to compose his soundtrack.
To wait, this well-thought-out first poster will intrigue the filmmaker’s fans… Netflix also shared a behind-the-scenes video earlier this year. The Killer :
