The Lumière festival prepares a Star Wars night
The original trilogy will be released in a restored version, preceded by Rogue One.
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Disney studios, the Lumière festival is planning some exceptional screenings. After announcing a session dedicated to the family around the Jungle Booknow its organizers set a night Star Wars on Saturday October 21 from 8:30 p.m. In the program ? Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, then the original trilogy released in 1977 and 1983 in the cinema, but in a restored version. Either A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back And Return of the Jedito be seen again on the giant screen of the Halle Tony Garnier.

In addition to this broadcast, the organizers plan “a unique atmosphere” to make the most of the George Lucas saga: “bar, entertainment, dormitory and free breakfast” are on the program, specifies the press release. Before this night Star Warsthe Lumière festival had previously planned a Tim Burton night, one dedicated to Monty Python, another to the saga Alien or to Jurassic Park. A way to take advantage of the festivities to please fans of popular cinema.
