The program for the Lumière 2023 festival continues to expand! After announcing a tribute to Wim Wenderswho will be honored as part of this 15th edition, but also a night Star Wars and a family screening of Jungle Book For celebrate 100 years of Disney studios, or even retrospectives devoted to Wes Anderson, Yasujirō Ozu, Alexander Payne and Robert Altman, the organizers unveil their closing film. And it’s a classic.

The Name of the Rosethe medieval investigation imagined by Umberto Eco and adapted by Jean-Jacques Annaud in 1986, with Sean Connery and Christian Slater, will therefore be in the spotlight. Meet on Sunday October 22 at 2:45 p.m. at the Halle Tony Garnier in Lyon to (re)see this cult film, presented by its director in person.
