The Pitt reopens its doors: trailer for season 2
Panic in the emergency room, on this national holiday….
It is certainly the best series of the year 2025.
The Pitt will return in a few days for a season 2 which promises to be at least as intense.
The first, broadcast last January, won five Emmy Awards including Best Drama Series and Best Actor for Noah Wyle, who returns in the disillusioned coat of Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch, head of Emergency at the Pittsburgh hospital.
This new season “will also address recent changes to the American health care system,” we are told. It will take place on July 4, the American national holiday. And it will include a cyber-attack that will bring down the entire computer system.
Patrick Ball (Dr. Langdon), Katherine LaNasa (Dana Evans), Supriya Ganesh (Dr. Mohan), Fiona Dourif (Dr. McKay), Taylor Dearden (Dr. King), Isa Briones (Dr. Santos), Gerran Howell (Whitaker), Shabana Azeez (Javadi), Sepideh Moafi (Dr. Al-Hashimi) will return to the cast.
Created by R. Scott Gemmill, this season 2 of The Pitt will be broadcast from Friday January 9 on HBO Max. This season’s 15 episodes will air weekly until the finale on Friday, April 17.
