The Secret Invasion credits were designed by an Artificial Intelligence!
“It was part of our desire. We wanted to highlight the elusive changing identity of the Skrulls”.
Almost as much as the final twist of episode 1 of Secret Invasionthe opening credits are causing a lot of talk on social networks, for a reason that has nothing to do with Nick Fury: this credits was entirely designed with artificial intelligence, as confirmed by the producer and director, Ali Selim in Polygon:
Conceived by Method Studios, the sequence in question is a montage of cubist-style paintings that depict the invasion of Earth by the Skrulls. “When we approached the AI providers, it was part of our desire. We wanted to highlight the changing and elusive identity of the Skrulls. Who did that ? What is this thing ? I don’t know how it works, but we talked to them about ideas, themes, words, and then the computer did its job. We had the render and then we changed a few things and the credits were changed as well.”
Still, this decision to play an AI has reacted to many fans on social networks, because the use of this technology has, in fact, deprived of work of human animators and graphic designers, underlines Variety.
