The sequel to this Chinese blockbuster unveils its first teaser
Creation of the Gods 2: Demon Force will be released in theaters in 2025.
The first part of Creation of the Gods caused a sensation at the box office, grossing $372 million worldwide. In France, it benefited from an exceptional two-day outing, on the occasion of the Chinese New Year, attracting more than 34,000 curious people. It will be available on VOD this December 31.

The sequel to the epic trilogy adapted from The Investiture of the Godsa historical and fantastic Chinese novel from the 16th century, is revealed with a first teaser which still promises great spectacle and mythological creatures galore. Creation of the Gods 2: Demon Force will be released in cinemas on January 29, 2025, for the Chinese New Year, and in France later this year.
Synopsis: As King Shang’s troops prepare to descend on the Western Lands of which he is now lord, Ji Fa organizes resistance with the help of the Taoist Jiang Ziya. Faced with the tyrant’s terrible warriors and their black magic, Ji Fa can count on the support of new allies, also endowed with supernatural forces.
