Vitrerie Joyal: trailer for the Quebec series from Prime Video
After Empathy in 2025, Florence Longpré will be back in a scathing new dramatic comedy, by Martin Matte.
This is the series that closed the Séries Mania festival, for its world premiere, last March: Vitrerie Joyal has just revealed its official trailer. A melancholy creation by the famous Quebec comedian Martin Matt, around a family business that is going under with its boss…
“In Quebec in the 1990s, André Joyal tries to save his declining glazier while facing important family challenges, in a changing world, between ambition, hope and disillusionment” details the synopsis.
Composed of six episodes, the series is written by Martin Matte (with François Avard). He also plays the leading role. At her side we find Florence Longpré, who caused a sensation in 2025 with Empathy on Canal + (also presented in preview at Séries Mania).
It is directed by Guillaume Lonergan and co-produced by Encore Télévision and Matte TV for Amazon MGM Studios.
Vitrerie Joyal will be available on May 1st on Prime Video.
