Nicole Kidman returns to horror with Osgood Perkins

More than 20 years after The Others, the Australian actress will reconnect with the horror genre.

She will plunge back into the thrill.

Nicole Kidman has signed on to the cast of the highly anticipated upcoming horror film from director Osgood Perkins, already known for Longlegs and currently in theaters with The Chosen One.

According to Deadline, she joins Lola Tung star of the series The Summer I Became Pretty and Nico Parker, heroine of Dragons in live-action, already confirmed in casting.

The film, titled The Young Peoplealso includes Brendan Hines, Cush Jumbo, Heather Graham, Johnny Knoxville, Lexi Minetree, Lily Collias and Tatiana Maslany, already headlining The Chosen One.

Few details have filtered out The Young Peoplewith Perkins keeping his films top secret until the first trailers. We simply know that the story will follow “ a couple of school friends, one of whom begins to exhibit worrying behavior “.

For Nicole Kidman, it’s a return to the horror genre, she who shone in 2001 in The Others by Alejandro Amenábar.
