After Emily, it’s Wednesday’s turn to settle in the most beautiful city in the world.

Head to France for the most gothic of Netflix heroines, which is seeing things big for its season 3. The streamer has just revealed a very first image which shows Jenna Ortega under the Eiffel Tower, leaning against a motorbike, the one on which the young girl had gone out and about at the end of season 2.

At his side, The Thing (the disembodied hand played by Victor Dorobantu) sits on the vehicle, while Wednesday, true to herself, stares at the horizon with her icy gaze, a piece of paper in her hand. In caption: “From Paris, with dread”. Everything is said.

Remember that season 2 ended with an escape: Wednesday and The Thing left on Uncle Fester’s (Fred Armisen) motorcycle in search of Enid (Emma Myers), her werewolf roommate, stuck in her animal form and disappeared into the wild. If Netflix is ​​still keeping the plot of this season 3 a mystery, it’s hard not to see this passage in Paris as a key stage in this hunt.

Filming began in February and this new round of episodes will welcome several prestigious faces, including Eva Green as Aunt Ophelia.

Also added are Winona Ryder, Lena Headey, Andrew McCarthy, James Lance, Chris Sarandon, Noah Taylor, Oscar Morgan and Kennedy Moyer in roles still kept secret.

Season 3 of Wednesday has been filming since February and will certainly be released at the end of 2026 or early 2027 on Netflix.
