American Horror Story season 13 reveals the returns of Jessica Lange and Sarah Paulson
Ryan Murphy posted some photos from the first day of filming…
Ryan Murphy launches hostilities for season 13 of American Horror Story. And he has two good news!
Jessica Lange is back: 8 years after her last appearance, the icon of the franchise will take her place again. Three first set photos released by Murphy Productions show Lange from behind, looking through an old window, blue dress and heels on her feet. Nothing very revealing… but more than enough to reignite the hype around the one who remains one of the founding figures of the series.
Because Jessica Lange is the DNA of AHS. Present since season 1 in the skin of Constance Langdon, she continued with Sister Jude, Fiona Goode then Elsa Mars, before a return as a guest in season 8. Remains an unknown: will she reprise a known role or will she play a new character?
At her side, we will also find another well-known face from the saga: Sarah Paulson also makes her comeback as Cordelia Goode, central figure of season 3, Coven. The message is clear: “The Supreme rises”. And with it, a cult place will make its return: the Robichaux academy, completely rebuilt for the occasion.
Around them, a reunion of alumni is taking shape: Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe and Leslie Grossman are announced. Even Ariana Grande joins the party, reuniting with Ryan Murphy after Scream Queens.
A priori, this season 13 should plunge us directly back into the universe of Coven with an all-star cast and an assumed nostalgia.
