Five Night at Freddy's 2 has a release date

FNaF 2 will be released in theaters next year.

After the success of the first part, obviously, FNaF will return to service. A movie Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is in development and Blumhouse and Universal Studios announced at CinemaCon that the sequel will be in theaters in fall 2025, approximately two years after the release of the first installment, which grossed $291 million worldwide .

No director or casting has yet been confirmed. Josh Hutcherson should come back. Production will start this summer.

“We hoped it would resonate with the public, but no one expected it to do so well.“, commented Hutcherson. “I'm dying to get back on set. Emma Tammi, our director, was fantastic and it was such a fun world to play in. I can't wait to see what they do next.”
