François Civil as a college teacher who doesn’t make waves (trailer)
Here are the first images from the new film from the director of the Prize for Success, Teddy Lussi-Modeste.
After playing D’Artagnan in The three Musketeers, François Civil takes on a darker, more realistic role in No wavesthe new film from Teddy Lussi-Modeste (The price of success). Inspired by the filmmaker’s life, the feature film tells the infernal spiral into which a middle school teacher falls when he is accused of harassment by a student in his class.
Oscillating between social drama and thriller, No waves depicts the trap slowly closing on the character of François Civil. Convinced of his innocence, he undergoes multiple pressures from the teenager’s big brother, as well as that of his colleagues.
The trailer reveals an oppressive atmosphere and a very current subject. François Civil inhabits his character and is accompanied by Shain Boumedine (For France) And Tuscany Duquesne of which this is the first film. No Waves will be released in theaters on March 27, 2024.
