A French musical has dreams, songs and food: everything we love, right?

First film of Stéphane Ly-Cuong (recent co-scriptwriter Winter in Sokcho with Roschdy Zem), and relatively suitable for his musical show Lemon yellow cabaret,, In the Nguyen kitchen tells the story of Yvonne Nguyen: a woman who dreams of playing in musicals but whose Vietnamese mother dreams especially that she takes up the family restaurant.

If we meet Thomas Jolly (yes, that of the Olympics) in the film and in the trailer, it is Clotilde Chevalier Who is the star of history and who takes up the role of Yvonne, whom she already played on stage in the show Cabaret yellow lemon. To quote one of the songs teashed by the trailer for this decidedly very attractive film: “Remember My Name, Yvonne Nguyen”. Chick?
