Javier Bardem and Kate Hudson reunite in a romantic comedy

Hello & Paris is thought of as a classic of the genre, a la “When Harry Met Sally”.

After his Oscar nomination for To a blues tuneKate Hudson returns to her fundamentals: romantic comedy!

But she will give the answer to an actor not at all used to the genre: Javier Bardem, Oscar winner for No Country for Old Menwill share the poster with her in this film entitled Hello & Paris.

The film, loosely inspired by the novel That Part Was True by Deborah McKinlay, will be written and directed by Elizabeth Chomko (What They Had). According to initial information, Hello & Paris follows in the tradition of American romantic classics such as When Harry Met Sally, Sleepless nights in Seattle Or You have a message.

The story follows Paris (Kate Hudson), a fiercely independent landscape architect, and a bestselling novelist in the midst of a crisis. A transatlantic epistolary exchange around books and recipes will transform their loneliness into an unexpected connection, and prove that sometimes, choosing not to be alone can be more difficult than remaining alone.

If for Kate Hudson, star of How to get dumped in 10 lessons, of You and me…and Dupree or Threesome duetit looks like a return to basics, for Javier Bardem, recently seen in F1 and expected as a psychopathic killer in the remake of Nerves on edgeit looks more like a job for the counter-job.
