Michael Jackson biopic begins filming, its first video is already here
Jaafar Jackson, the King of Pop’s nephew, slips into the costume to perform “Man in the Mirror” in this film directed by Antoine Fuqua.
Announced last September, the biopic on Michael Jackson seems to be running its course as expected. As evidenced by the first images revealed on Daily Mail. We distinguish Jaafar Jackson, the popstar’s nephew, singing and moving like his uncle. Indeed, after having taken the same musical path as his uncle and his father Jermaine Jackson (who was a member of the Jackson 5), Jaafar Jackson launches into cinema.

The biopic is written by John Logan (screenwriter of Gladiator, Aviator And Sky Fall) and produced by Antoine Fuqua (Training Daythe trilogy Equalizer). As soon as the project was announced, the filmmaker was immediately very clear about his desire to film all aspects of the star, without obscuring his dark side and the scandals: “He was a great artist. And he was human. So we will show the good, the bad and the ugly…”, assured the director.
Even if the biopic does not yet have a release date, a documentary will be available on Paramount+ on December 3 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the legendary album Thriller.
