Rings of Power season 3 has completed filming
A short video is online with a glimpse of Gandalf and Galadriel…
Season 3 of the series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power has officially finished filming.
Prime Video has published a making-of video where we see the scale of the studio sets, and where we find several actors from this new salvo, including Jamie Campbell Bower, recently arrived in the universe. “It’s a joy to return to Middle-earth”, also confides Morfydd Clark, the interpreter of Galadriel, in this little glimpse behind the scenes, which shows Gandalf, in an outfit that we know well…

Prime Video confirmed the launch of this third season last February. And it promises to be a pivotal chapter, marked by a step forward in time: the plot jumps back several years to plunge directly into the heart of the great war between the Elves and Sauron.
According to the official synopsis, this season 3 takes place “at the height of the War of the Elves and Sauron, while the Dark Lord forges the One Ring supposed to give him the decisive advantage to conquer Middle-earth”.
In the cast, we will therefore find Morfydd Clark, but also Charlie Vickers, Owain Arthur, Robert Aramayo, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Daniel Weyman, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Markella Kavenagh and many others. Among the new recruits: Jamie Campbell Bower, Eddie Marsan, Andrew Richardson, Zubin Varla and Adam Young.
Showrunners JD Payne and Patrick McKay are back.
Launched in September 2022, the series unveiled its season 2 in August 2024. If the pace continues, season 3 should logically arrive in 2026.
