Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse postponed until further notice!
The sequel to Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse was supposed to be released in March 2024. It no longer has a date.
Bad news for Miles Morales fans. Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, the third film in the hit Lord and Miller animated franchise, no longer has a release date. Second part of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and continuation of new generationthe film was supposed to land in theaters on March 29, 2024. But the current strike in Hollywood is seriously disrupting production.
The voice cast won’t be able to finish recording dialogue in time for a spring release, according to Sony Pictures, which prefers to wait and see how the conflict unfolds before giving a new release date.
Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse will therefore remain in abeyance until further notice. And in general, the Sony studio announced yesterday that it has revised its plans in large parts, due to the social movement in Hollywood.
Thus, the sequel to Ghostbusters: Afterlifewhich is currently filming in New York, starring Paul Rudd, has been delayed to March 29, 2024. It was originally scheduled to arrive for Christmas, in December 2023.
