The splendid trailer for season 3 of Foundation announces the date and a new threat

Apple’s big galactic saga is coming back in force this summer.
Season 3 of Unit continues the epic of a group of exiles engaged in a titanic mission: to save humanity and rebuild civilization in the face of the collapse of the Galactic Empire. The plan of Hari Seldon (Jared Harris) will be threatened by the arrival of a new essential character of the novels of Isaac Asimov: The Mule (the Mulet in French). He had been seen in a vision of Gaal Dornick in season 2, in the guise of Mikael Persbrandt, and will be embodied by Pilou Asbæk (Game of Thrones) in season 3.
History will lead us “152 years after the events of season 2, the Foundation has firmly established well beyond its modest beginnings, while the Empire of the Cleon dynasty is in decline. Produced by Skydance Television for Apple, the first episode of this third season will be available from Friday July 11, followed by a new episode every Friday until September 12.
