Toy Story 5 becomes the biggest success of the year 2026 at the global box office

Pixar has a new billionaire.
In recent hours, Toy Story 5 officially crossed the billion-dollar mark in global box office revenue. Andrew Stanton’s film also becomes the biggest success of the year 2026, ahead of Super Mario Galaxy and in front Michael.
In detail, Woody and Buzz earned $448 million in revenue in North America and $573 million internationally, for a total of $1.022 billion.
In spring, Super Mario Galaxy had ended his career at 1.011 billion, a hair ahead of the biopic Michael which ended up at 1.010 billion. The two previously occupied the first two places in the annual ranking.

The Odyssey by Nolan has already accumulated $639.6 million worldwide and seems well on its way to also crossing the billion mark in the coming weeks. Without forgetting Spider-Man: Brand New Dayexpected in theaters next Wednesday in France and which could also join this club very quickly.
