Eddington will be in competition at the next Cannes festival, before an outing this summer in theaters.
Its projection on the Croisette will be one of the events of Cannes Film Festival 2025. The new film ofAri Aster is revealed today a little more, with this first cryptic trailer, which takes us to this small town of New Mexico that we call Eddington.
The story takes place in May 2020, during the Pandemic of Covid-19. Local sheriff Joe Cross opposes Mayor Ted Garcia. This will trigger a real powder maker in the small town.
The director of Beau is afraid thus found Joaquin Phoenix headlining, accompanied by an impressive cast: Pedro PascalLuke Grimes, Deirdre O’Connell, Micheal Ward, and the exceptional participation ofAustin Butler And Emma Stone.
