Will Quentin Tarantino cast Tom Cruise for his latest film?
Discussions are reportedly underway for him to play “a small role” in The Movie Critic.
Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Samuel L. Jackson, John Travolta, Harvey Keitel, Robert De Niro, Bruce Willis, Kurt Russell, Jamie Foxx… The biggest Hollywood actors have appeared in front of the camera Quentin Tarantino. But never again Tom Cruise made a foray into the crazy universe of the director of Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood. So why not a collaboration for The Movie Criticwhich will be (a priori), the filmmaker’s very last film?
According to The Insneider (often well informed), Tom Cruise is currently in discussions to join the cast of Quentin Tarantino’s 10th feature film.
Rare is the information that has leaked, but we know that the story will take place in the 70s in California and “is based on a guy who really lived, but was never really famous, and who wrote movie reviews for a porn rag.”
Sony Pictures will likely distribute the film and Stacey Sher will serve as producer. No other names have yet been leaked in the casting.
The Movie Critic should be released in theaters in 2025.
