Singer Pomme and rapper Fianso collaborate in La Vénus d’Argent (trailer)
Pomme becomes Jeanne, a 24-year-old young woman determined to escape the suburbs.
For her cinema debut, the singer Apple (Claire Pommet her real name) plays Jeanne, an atypical girl who dreams of transcending her social class, in The Silver Venus. She lives in the suburbs with her father and wants to acquire her freedom through professional success, in the world of finance. However, it is difficult to stand out in an industry dedicated to suit and tie. However, the 24-year-old young woman strives and stops at nothing. She knows how to stand up to those who consider her “the intern”. The young woman quickly stands out from the crowd and is noticed by Farès, interpreted by the rapper Fianso alias Sofiane Zermani. To blend in with the testosterone mass, Jeanne takes on the role of a businessman: boyish cut, suit and flattened chest, nothing will make the young scholar turn back.

Directed by Helena Klotz (Madeleine Collins), The Silver Venus refers to the prestigious statuette on the hood of Rolls Royce, better known under the name of Spirit of Ecstasy. Jeanne asserts her posture – similar to that of the statuette – she only asks to spread her wings in an environment where wealth flows. She wishes to be free to make her choices by undertaking an atypical destiny, surrounded by men.
Niels Schneider, Anna Mouglalis and Grégoire Colin complete the cast of The Silver Venusin theaters November 22.
